Potsdam, June 12, 2024. Filming has begun on the second season of the most successful international original series in Prime Video’s history, *MAXTON HALL – THE WORLD BETWEEN US*. The second season of the series, produced by UFA Fiction, is based on “Save You,” the second installment of the bestselling novel series by author Mona Kasten, published by LYX.
Since its launch on May 9, 2024, the first season has achieved the highest global viewership figures for a non-U.S. original title in its first week in the history of Prime Video and ranked No. 1 on the Prime Video charts in over 120 countries and territories. The “MAXTON HALL effect” is evident throughout Germany, including the two lead actors, Damian Hardung and Harriet Herbig-Matten, whose reach on their social media channels has increased by 480% and 3,900%, respectively, as well as the city of Hanover, which has seen a more than 400% increase in travel interest.
Here’s what’s next at Maxton Hall Private College:
Those who fly high can also fall hard… After their night of passion together in Oxford and with her life’s biggest goal within reach, everything seems to be going perfectly for Ruby (Harriet Herbig-Matten). But a tragedy in James’s (Damian Hardung) family changes everything, and James himself—of all people—brings her back down from cloud nine to a harsh reality. Ruby is devastated. She’s never had such strong feelings for anyone as she does for James—and she’s never been hurt so deeply by anyone. She wants her old life back, when no one at Maxton Hall knew her yet and she wasn’t part of her classmates’ elite world. But she can’t forget James—especially since he’s doing everything he can to win her back.
