Potsdam, December 17, 2025: Prime Video releases first scene images from the new original film FABIAN AND THE MURDEROUS WEDDING. The murder-mystery comedy will be available exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and regions worldwide from February 6, 2026. The film was shot in Latvia and Lithuania.

About FABIAN AND THE MURDEROUS WEDDING:
Hapless conman Fabian (Bastian Pastewka) ends up on the run in the middle of a quirky wedding party. He soon realizes that the wedding has more to offer than just festivities – the precious wedding gift to the bride! When a corpse turns up, Fabian is more than just accidentally involved in solving the mystery. A thrilling murder mystery film full of humor and dark secrets.

In addition to Bastian Pastewka in the leading role, Tamara Romera Ginés, Anton Dreger, Barbara Philipp, Ercan Durmaz, Mira Partecke, Bernhard Schütz, Nicole Beutler, Taneshia Abt, Lena Dörrie, Knud Riepen, Marta Kizyma, Daniel Rodic, Till Raskopf, Rabea Lüthi, Georg Paluza, Sara Bartknecht, Maxim Bartknecht and Magnus Krepper will also be seen.

FABIAN AND THE MURDEROUS WEDDING is a production of UFA Fiction in cooperation with Amazon MGM Studios Germany for Prime Video. The movie was directed by Markus Sehr. Nataly Kudiabor and Denise Neustadt act as producers, executive producer is Leonie Franziska Geisinger. The screenplay was written by Martin Eigler, Lars Neuwöhner and Sven S. Poser, with additional screenplay contributions from Judy Horney.
