Potsdam, December 12, 2025 – The case is clear: “Tödliche Dienst-Tag” is back on RTL and brings new top investigators into position. The series kicks off on January 13 at 8:15 pm with the thrilling crime drama HAVELTOD – EIN POTSDAM-KRIMI starring GZSZ star Wolfgang Bahro as renowned profiler Armin Weber. A must for all Jo Gerner fans who have always wanted to see their favorite TV lawyer in a completely different role. At his side is Felix Kreutzer as chief inspector and Armin’s son Gregor Weber. Other roles are played by Sinje Irslinger, Rosa Enskat, Katrin Heller, Sebastian Schneider, Rainer Sellien and Jane Chirwa. The film will also be available on RTL+ at the same time as the RTL broadcast.

The gruesome discovery of a woman’s body shocks Potsdam: The body of a young woman hangs conspicuously in the bell tower of the Heilandskirche church. The case shows significant parallels to a mysterious murder many years ago, so Chief Inspector Gregor Weber has to ask the chief inspector who was investigating the case for help: Armin Weber, his father, of all people! Armin is the best profiler in the country – but since the case back then, there has been radio silence between the two. It was Gregor’s first case as a detective and Armin took him away without his knowledge. Gregor cannot forgive his father for this. It soon becomes clear that father and son are not only struggling with their own conflicts and a seemingly unsolvable case, but that they have fallen into the crosshairs of an overpowering killer. Can Armin use his profiling expertise to uncover the psychological depths of this puzzling case and prevent further crimes?

Wolfgang Bahro plays Armin Weber: “What appealed to me most about the role of Armin Weber was that it was about a man who deals with crimes and solving them. And in a very special way, namely as a case analyst, a profiler in English. The collaboration with my series son, played by Felix Kreutzer, was absolutely outstanding. When I first met Felix at the casting for his role, I hoped that he would get the part. Not only do we harmonize perfectly as father and son, we also get on very well behind the camera. And I think you can see that in our interactions in front of the camera too.”

Felix Kreutzer plays Gregor Weber: “Of course, it suits me that I’ve been doing martial arts since I was a child and that I train a lot with police officers who not only have to deal with me, but also with my curiosity. I was particularly interested in how you protect yourself internally in this job and what happens when, like Gregor, the boundary between private life and work suddenly becomes blurred. Of course, there was also shooting and police training. The only thing missing now? As an investigator in Potsdam, definitely a boat license. You never know what might happen on the Havel.”

More content and interviews with Wolfgang Bahro and Felix Kreutzer can be found in the press kit in the RTL Media Hub.
