The acts are once again quite something: TikTok follower millionaire Abu Habib (36) even served as a role model for a social media video for jury boss Dieter Bohlen and his colleague Pietro Lombardi – so the joy of reunion is great!
In keeping with this, a genuine Ballermann duo and the songwriter of DJ Ötzi’s legendary “Burger Dance” raise the mood barometer even higher and Beatrice Egli gets the heat on with a particularly soulful song by financial salesman Philip.
From a colorful mixture of multi-faceted acts some voices stand out once again. Like the voice of student teacher Anna Sophie Dück, who didn’t even register for the casting show herself.
Once again, the golden CD will be handed over the jury panel and the audience will be surprised to see who will secure their direct entry into the stadium recall.
Eric Dikeb (53)
from Wilsum
Song Jurycasting: “Sweet Silvie”, own composition
Eric from the Netherlands has been living in Germany for some time and owns his own cleaning company. He only started speaking German two years ago and thinks that people think he talks too much. The likeable 53-year-old had a No. 1 hit over 20 years ago with “Burger Dance” together with DJ Ötzi and made a lot of money with it. His idea: maybe he can repeat this success with DSDS? After all, he presents his own composition about his favorite Dutch star Silvie Meis in front of the jury and relies on his experienced hand when it comes to hits.
Anna Sophie Dück (20)
from Bielefeld
Songs Jurycasting: “Clown” by Emeli Sandé
Anna Sophie is a student teacher and loves working with children. Her little sister, with whom she has a particularly close relationship, is her biggest fan and is keeping her fingers crossed for her on her way to the audition. How did she come to DSDS? Her two best friends signed her up without her knowledge. Her distinctive voice is her biggest asset and Anna has set herself some goals for the leap into the deep end at DSDS: “I believe that my voice will set me apart from the way people usually sing.” Anna’s motto: “Everything that happens in life has a reason.” A good reason to become a superstar!
Hussein Hayek (30) and Artur Okulichev (29)
from Büren and Brilon
Song Jurycasting: “Mallorca Mon Amour” by Manni Manta
Ballermann time at Europa Park Rust! Hussein and Artur have taken the cult film “Ballermann 6” by comedian Tom Gerhardt as their model and now want to turn the DSDS castings into a party madhouse with a sangria bucket and party attitude! As a duo called “Köln Kalk Verbot” (Cologne Lime Ban) and plenty of atmosphere in their luggage, the next vacation drinks are already in sight. Their motto: “We’re thirsty, yo!” The jury is actually infected by the party mood – but will they have enough vocal talent for the recall?
Mari Grafik (20)
from Falkensee
Song Jurycasting: Medley from “Ich liebe das Leben” / “Shoop” / “Hips Don’t Lie” by Vicky Leandros / Salt ‘n’ Pepa / Shakira feat. Wyclef Jean
Mari has power under the hood! The young woman from Brandenburg is training as a car mechanic in her father’s workshop, which she affectionately calls her “manager”. “I’ve always liked anything with an engine,” she says, passionate about her passion for mechanics. She also enjoys singing and dancing, as her whole family is very musical. Mari used to sing Disney songs, then eventually started rapping because she thought Nicki Minaj was cool. Her goal on DSDS is now to win over the jury with emotion. Now it’s time to put the pedal to the metal and get through to the next round as accident-free as possible!
Magaret Helen Mohr (75)
from Altefähr
Song Jurycasting: “Rockin’ All Over The World” by Status Quo
Magaret has seen a lot at the age of 75: The sprightly senior citizen is originally from Scotland, lived in Spain for 20 years and has now found her home in Germany. She says: “Other people have problems with their age, I still feel like I used to!” She can already look back on a remarkable musical career: She used to sing in a rock’n’roll band called “Just For Fun”, performed in hotels, retirement homes and in front of soldiers and danced ballet in England and Scotland in her younger years. Will Magaret now bring her dynamism to the DSDS stage and make it through to the next round?
Abu Habib (36)
from Wennigsen
Song Jurycasting: Medley of “Beautiful Girls” by Sean Kingston / “Boombastic” by Shaggy / “Mensch” by Herbert Grönemeyer and “Back In Black” by AC/DC
Abu is a TikTok celebrity and makes his more than one million followers laugh with funny comedy and dance interludes – even Dieter Bohlen and Pietro Lombardi are fans of his, both of whom have already recreated an Instagram video of him. “I’m not a singer, I’m an entertainer! But who knows – maybe something will develop today!” Abu builds up suspense. Now the trained car dealer wants to prove that he can also become a star outside of social media. “Dieter is my idol, he shaped my whole childhood,” says Abu, quickly identifying his favorite on the jury.
Philip Matas (25)
from Heidenheim
Song Jurycasting: “You Are The Reason” by Calum Scott
“Music defines me, it fills my life. I am firmly convinced that I will earn my living with music one day!” The handsome Philip has a clear plan and knows that he can make a special impact on stage. “If you have a dream, you should definitely stick to it,” is his motto in life. Philip has a strong bond with his family, especially his sister and his girlfriend, who give him a lot of strength. Can he live up to the high standards he has set himself and captivate the jury?
