Golden start for DSDS! On Wednesday evening, Dieter Bohlen and Pietro Lombardi and their new co-judges Beatrice Egli and Loredana made an impressive return to DEUTSCHLAND SUCHT DEN SUPERSTAR with 1.96 million viewers. And with a big surprise: the very first candidate (Nissim Mizrahi, 61, from Hamburg) was presented with the Golden CD by pop titan Dieter Bohlen. Among 14 to 59-year-olds, the show achieved a strong 12.2 percent and thus won the primetime slot. Among 14 to 49-year-olds, DSDS achieved a good 12.4 percent market share.

RTL secured first place on Wednesday with a daily market share of 10.7 percent among 14- to 59-year-olds and 10.8 percent among 14- to 49-year-olds.

RTL will be showing the second episode of DSDS on Saturday, September 21 at 8:15 pm. It is already available to watch on RTL+.
